July 27, 2009 - Laboratory and knowledge institution Altic first succeeded in linking the satellite images of Fieldlook to a fertilizer. Altic this year launched a system allowing variable fertilization based on satellite imagery. The system follows potatoes during the growing season several times on the basis of development and nitrate content in leaf. This leads to an average fertilization for a field. This is the first time in the Netherlands that such site-specific fertilization is possible.
July 7, 2009 - This weekend, the website is expanded to include some new features for more convenience. Thus, the choice between a season legend (real picture of differences within the field) or a week legend (differences in the field maximum visible) is made easily with one click on a button.
Also no more need to click "SAVE" after changing cropinformation and a symbol of binoculars indicates if you are looking to a field of yourself or of a fellow grower.
June 10, 2009 - For several weeks Fieldlook.com is available in the Belgian province of Limburg. The Province of Limburg has the satellite information purchased from Basfood in 2009. The Province makes it possible that farmers in the province can use Fieldlook this year for free. Meanwhile there are more than 3,000 hectares subscribed by Belgian farmers.
The Belgian press has picked up this initiative. Hear and see more about Fieldlook in a nice report on: http://www.boerenstebuiten.be/default.asp?MovieId=1304
May 15, 2009 - The season has started great with the beautiful weather of recent weeks. Certainly we made good satellite pictures of all fiels the first weeks. Most of the fields have 5 nitrogenpictures available.
When you subscribe you instantly receive all previous recordings of this year. Fill in just the necessary information to your crop fiels, including the expected harvestdate. Click easily on the colored beads in the graph to go back to an earlier recording. Under the graph you can see the corresponding color map of the time. View and compare the developments of the various parameters, also see the Field My Analysis page.
Have you subscribed yet but want to see how you like working with color charts and graphics? Click on the Home page on the Free Tour button and see the possibilities that Fieldlook offers.

Look in your crop
Add your fields and get the best pair of eyes available to look to the crops on your land. Satellites look if they are inside the crop. This gives you vital information from plants with the eye can’t see. And you get them directly in absolute numbers, such as kilograms per hectare or millimeters per week. The basis for further analysis, interpretation and acting. Growing at the highest level begins with measuring the crop!
